Dalarna Quilt kit
Let me set the scene: once upon a time, deep in the timeless forests of Dalarna, a cabinet maker and his family lived in a little red cottage made of wood. One winter evening before Christmas, as the snow drifted down and frost sparkled on the pine trees, he sat by the stove - enjoying the warmth of the fire and the aroma of spiced biscuits baking - and carved toy horses for his children. And so, the Dala horse was born.
This very popular quilt has been thoughtfully reimagined by Nicola of Cakestand quilts featuring our lovely Tilda fabrics.
Your kit will include all fabric needed to make the quilt top including the binding. The pattern is NOT included and can be purchased at www.cakestandquilts.com
Backing is optional and is My Neighborhood Moss or Evie Green (last 2 pictures). Please leave in comments which one you prefer, or one will be chosen for you.
