Got Kwilts? established in 2020

The Got Kwilts? Story

Looking back, I realize that it all began with my mom. Ever since I was little, she and I have bonded over sewing and making quilts with the support of talented friends and fellow quilters.

Fast forward to the early days of COVID-19, and I say, “Mom, we need to share your love of Tilda with the world.”

So, we ordered a few bolts, set up an Etsy shop, and started selling fabric.  That is all it took as the creative sides of our brains took over, and the next thing I knew, we were building our website, and today, our small business of 2 has grown beyond our wildest dreams.

It has been a privilege to offer you something unique in the world of quilting.  We dream daily about how we can “shake up” the quilting world with new ideas on fabric, quilting, displays, and home décor.  Enjoy perusing our site. We are grateful for all of your support.

Meet the Team

We have an incredible team of dedicated women working each day to cut, package, ship, and help create beautiful samples for you.

  • Richla Ramsey

Co-Founder, Creative Director, and Longarm Quilter

Mom to 2 sweet girls, a husband who doesn’t mind if we play with fabric all day long, 2 rambunctious dogs and a cat named Edwin who now has a new name - “toothless.”

  • Sonia Sidhu

Co-Founder, CEO, Editor-In-Chief for The Quarter Inch Newsletter, and President of the Got Kwilts? Community Initiative.

My love for quilting inspired me to collaborate with my mom to offer international products in a way that’s accessible to everyone. When I am not analyzing spreadsheets, I am most likely riding my horse, Pia, or passing time with the kids at Acres of Diamonds.

I hope these will become your go-to “kwilting” essentials that can live in your studio, be your favorite rainy day companion, improve your quilts, and add some joy to your life.
